My top 5 Restaurants in the area!

How it works: My current favourite 5 restaurants, both restaurants Mojacar and in the area, as and when I update the list. No real order to them, I just lean back in my chair and think of food, then write down whatever pops into my head. Ah, life.

An excellent Restaurant, attached to an excellent hotel. The food is great. Really great. Need I say more? Whether for a formal meal or just beer and tapas, this is possibly the only local restaurant deserving of a Michelin star. I only haven’t yet written a review because I haven’t come up with one that does it justice.

Traditional Spanish food, done in the best possible way.

Restaurante Loma Blanca

It’s a steakhouse, but a great one. The occasional quirk in their service only adds to the overall charm. Pity they don’t put more veg with their meat though.

Taj Indian Restaurant, Turre

Seems to be the only decent Indian restaurant in the area at the moment! Well, at least unlike Bollywood Indian Restaurant they aren´t trying to sue me…

Pizzeria Little Italy, Garrucha
Family run pizzeria in Garrucha. Friendly, informal, always full and great home made pizza. On the right just after Mercadona, coming from Vera, on the corner just before the big building site.

Millindurrio, Antas
Is it time for lunch? Do you want to stuff yourself without breaking the budget? Then it’s either Millindurrio or, if it’s full, La Brasa in Vera. Menu del dia. Bloody good.
