ITV demands redundent documents to pass your car

The Andalusian ITV network has announced that as from today it will be obligatory to show your vehicle is insured in order to pass your (MOT) inspection. Calls for local mobility scooter regulations

There are suggestions that local councils should consider regulating the use of mobility scooters after an apparent increase of the number of people using them on the public road. Benidorm council recently had to regulate their use and other tourism centres are studying their example. Such vehicles are not regulated under Spanish traffic law. Turre issuing fines via CCTV system

Turre townhall appears to be issuing fines to motorists via the CCTV system installed in the town. I have spoken to a couple of people who have received traffic fines from the Policia Local, due to infringements spotted on the CCTV.
