Terraza Carmona burns down

The Terraza Carmona, Vera’s top restaurant and hotel, has been severely damaged by fire after the large hall adjoining the main hotel caught fire on Friday night. It seems the fire started near the bandstand, and so far investigators have refused to rule out either a short circuit or a lit cigarette. Vera to host Solar Cooking Promotions

Next 10th of September are the Solar Cooking Promotions in Vera main square (in front of the Cathedral). Sponsored by Castillo de Tabernas, Silestone and the Association of Chefs & Bakers Indalo, the idea is to promote local dishes, cooked by the sun.
