Turre puts out tender for bars during the feria, puts limits on prices

In a surprise move, Turre council has put out to tender the two bars that will be permitted at this years feria. If you want to run one of them it will cost you 2,500€ plus 200€ flat fee for water & electricity. Turre Tapa Route 2015

The Turre Tapa Route (Camino de tapas de Turre 2015) will be from the 31st of July to 14th of August. Collect your “passport” from the townhall or participating restaurants, then visit the 18 bars signed up to the route, sample their best tapas and get your passport stamped. Berja has erotic tapa route this weekend

Berja (other side of Almeria city) is celebrating Valentines Day by organising an erotic tapa route. apparently it’s the second one – people were bored with the usual tapas route, so they changed the date to the weekend nearest the 14th and called it sexy tapas. Turre has announced that it is organising a Tapas run over the weekend of the 28/29 of July and 4/5 of August. Vera Tapa Route promises a tasty weekend

Vera is organising it’s first annual Vera Tapas Route (I Ruta de Tapa de Vera) in association with the townhall, Bodegas y Viñedos Laujar, Cepa Bosquet and Cepa Fuente de la Reina (all various wineries). Running on the weekends of 7-10 April and 15-20 April, most of the bars in Vera will be participating. Plaza Mayor Cafeteria (Turre)

The Plaza Mayor Cafeteria is the old “café.com” bar in the main square in Turre (which moved across the plaza into the space left after that disgusting O’connells place was run out of town). Granada + new phone!
