People who purchased a car in the last decade could be entitled to a refund of up to 1500 euros after 147 dealerships across Spain were found guilty of anti-competitive practises by conspiring to keep prices of new vehicles artificially high between 2006-2013. Electric companies must repay 680 million euros to customers (that’s me and you!)

40 euros apiece is what OCU, the consumer union, reckons we’ve been overcharged on our last three electric bills. It’s because the storms in the north of Spain have made the renewable energy generators produce more electricity than expected, driving down prices. That means the electric companies must repay 680 million euros to their customers, and will, in the July bill.

Been charged for schoolbooks? Ask for your money back

The Junta has confirmed that a small number of public educational centres (primary schools to you and me) in the province have wrongly charged for this years text books. All textbooks were supposed to have been free this year (elections, you know).
