Garrucha has declared bankruptcy after their budget comptroller realised the town only has enough cash in the bank to pay salaries until the end of this month. Union CCOO have filed an urgent complaint with the courts to prevent the destructions of thousands of documents currently underway in Madrid townhall. Judge opens investigation into allegations of Mojacar postal fraud

A Judge in Vera has opened an investigation into whether postal fraud was committed in Mojacar by the PP in last Sundays election. Mayor Grima postal fraud scam under electoral board investigation

The allegation that Mayor of Turre Arturo Grima was spotted in Mojácar’s post office posting 80 postal votes is the subject of an investigation by the electoral board. PP look set to keep control of the Diputación

The County Council (Diputación) looks set to be retained by the PP. Although several townhalls could still change hands in the coming weeks as post-electoral pacts are made – the PP have minority control over 12 towns – it looks like they have won the most towns overall. So the results are in. Across the province, the PP lost control of the county council (Diputación) to the PSOE: 41 townhalls to 39. Arturo Grima caught in alleged postal vote fraud

The Mayor of Turre, Arturo Grima, has been allegedly caught out by the opposition PSOE party in a postal vote scam.
