Motorbike crackdown

Traffic police have announced a special campaign against motorbikes and mopeds this November 13 – 15. Officers will be paying special attention to all such motorists to ensure that their paperwork is in order and vehicles safe.Local police forces across the region of Andalucia have been invited to take part in the campaign. Too dangerous to deliver post when it’s windy

The Inspectorate of Work (Spanish health and safety, basically) has ruled that it’s too dangerous to deliver the post when it’s windy in Almería. The ruling came after a complaint earlier in the year from a postman that it was too windy to drive his official moped around.
