It’s the iconic Spanish car, the nippy little SEAT Ibiza, and the first one went on sale 30 years ago today. The first ever Ibiza cost a whopping 825,000 pesetas, or about €15.620 in 2014 prices. Almeria third cheapest holiday destination in the world, says survey

A survey of holiday destinations by the portal trivago.com has said that Almería is the third cheapest holiday destination in the world, costing an average of just 61€ a day for a full board double hotel room during July and August. Other cheap Spanish destinations singled out are Santa Cruz de Tenerife, at number two (just 60€ a day) or Las Palmas, at 62€ a day. The cheapest destination is Patong Beach, Thailand.
