Madrid frees up restaurant rules

Madrid has approved a new series of bylaws which remove all restrictions on restaurant sizes, kitchen size and installations, and locations on restaurant installations. No bog roll for coppers as budget cuts bite

The National Police have admitted that due to budget cutbacks they can´t afford to supply toilet papers to their police stations. In 2011, they bought 1,2 million rolls of toilet paper. In 2012, just 500,000. This year, they tendered a contract for 960,000 rolls, but never got round to signing it as they didn´t have the cash to pay for it. Olive oil decanter ban dropped by the EU after much mockery

The EU has decided to drop its plan to remove olive oil decanters from tables, meaning that my morning tostada is safe! The EU has dropped plans to ban restaurants from using refillable jugs and bowls of olive oil, after they drew consumer criticism and even ridicule.
