A bizarre situation happened yesterday in Almería city. Local police found a small pony abandoned in the city centre – and had to use a rubbish lorry to take it the pound. Residents of C/ Lopez Vega called the cops early Sunday morning after spotting the scared animal nosing for food. First jailed for animal cruelty

Some b*stard in Palma beat his horse to death after he lost a horse race in Manacor, Palma de Mallorca. And a Judge has ruled he must now serve his eight months in jail. “Clown and coaching with horses” comes to Los Gallardos this weekend

A workshop entitled Clown y coaching con caballos is taking place in Los Gallardos, which aims to help people “break out” from their shyness and develop a sense of self-worth. It’s taking place at the finca of the Equiessence Association in Los Gallardos, from the 1st to the 4th of May.

Police confirm they have seized dozens of samples of pet and animal food to see if they contain remains of diseased animals or stray dogs, in a major national investigation, according to El Mundo newspaper. Moroccan man M.A. has been sentenced to three months in jail, commuted to deportation from Spain for a minimum of 10 years, for killing a stallion in El Ejido by inserting a large pole up the animals rectum. M.A. was prosecuted under animal protection laws.
