Albox directors jailed

Six directors of an Albox building company have been found guilty and jailed for repeated breaches of health and safety, despite no work accidents having occurred. Penal Court 2 of Almeria ruled the company forced workers to work under unsafe work conditions and ignored complaints. 2 youths injured in Mojacar after brick falls on them

Two youths, 18 & 20 years old, were injured last night in Mojacar after a breeze block fell on them. According to a report by the Local Police, the youths were outside a local disco on Avenida Andalucia at 1:20 am, leaning against a scaffold support which was holding up a dodgy piece of roofing. EU opens corruption investigation into Andalucian budgets

The EU has opened an official investigation to see what’s happened to over €200 million of EU funds that seem to have “vanished” in Andalucia. The corruption investigation looks at how the Junta de Andalucia has been spending the EU funds, which were supposed to go on labour policies and reduction of workplace accidents.
