The government has approved yet another price increase for butane bottles, the orange gas bottles we all use – the new price will be 16.43€ as from the middle of July. That’s an increase of 5,8%, and a total 8,8% increase since January. 10 million Spaniards are dependent on butane bottles according to the industry.
It appears a gas bottle exploded in her kitchen of her villa, located on Calle El Palmeral on Mojacar Playa, yesterday about 13:00. Guardia Civil are refusing to comment on the case, except to say that they do not looking at an external source for the explosion. The lady was a 50 year old Spanish lady, native to Mojacar, with initials M.T.P.G.
The Medgaz floating platform which is assembling the Spain – Morrocco gas pipeline suffered an explosion in which at least 3 workers were killed this afternoon. The floating platform is believed to the most the largest and most advanced ship of its kind in the world, and was working off the coast of Algeria.
