A woman has been seriously injured after her seven meter cabin cruiser exploded in Garrucha harbour today at midday. An explosion in a garage in Mojácar early this morning killed a 40 year old man and injured his parents, both 60. The explosion happened in the garage of a home in Capellanía street at around 1,50 am. Police are investigating the cause of the explosion. Two other people were taken to hospital with smoke inhalation.
It appears a gas bottle exploded in her kitchen of her villa, located on Calle El Palmeral on Mojacar Playa, yesterday about 13:00. Guardia Civil are refusing to comment on the case, except to say that they do not looking at an external source for the explosion.
