Baby and adult die after hitting a car coming head-on against them

A car going the wrong way up the motorway outside Cantoria smashed into an oncoming vehicle late last night, killing an adult and a fourteen month old baby girl from Purchena. Four vehicles in all collided. The vehicle which caused the crash was speeding the wrong way down the motorway when it hit the on-coming vehicle, which hadn’t spotted it because they had just pulled into the left hand lane to overtake a large vehicle. A woman lost control of her car after hitting a puddle this midday in Aguadulce (other side of Almeria city) and managed to plough through a wall. Accidente en Aguadulce (Almería). Bus of English schoolchildren crashes in Cantoria, 8 taken to hospital

A bus carrying home students from the IES ‘Valle del Almanzora’ secondary school crashed this evening as it took the children home. It seems the bus swerved into the path of an oncoming car on the AL-1100. Crash at Loma Blanca

It appears that 4 south americans in car, overtaking on the blind corner on the Los Gallardos – Garrucha road, in front on the Loma Blanca / Oasis campsite, hit an oncoming car driven by an English couple. Early reports say that the English wife died in the crash and the husband was airlifted to hospital. The 4 south Americans have been taken to hospital by ambulance.
