An average of 5 people every single day were arrested last year on corruption charges. A whopping 7.140 were nicked during the last term of government for doing things they shouldn’t whilst in power. Patients across Spain now supposed to be charged for hospital medicines

As from this month, all regions of Spain are supposed to charge non-admitted patients a proportion of the cost of the medicines dispensed to them at hospitals. So the idea is that if you go to A&E and get treated, but not admitted, on the way out you have to swipe the old credit card. ATM charges double in the last years

According to a study published today, the average Spanish charge to use your credit card at a hole in the wall that doesn’t belong to your bank is now 3,5€, double what it was before the crisis.
