Police confirm they have seized dozens of samples of pet and animal food to see if they contain remains of diseased animals or stray dogs, in a major national investigation, according to El Mundo newspaper. Horsemeat found in Spanish burgers

Horsemeat has been found in burgers onsale in Spanish supermarkets, according to consumer group OCU, who have also published an analysis of the quality of the meat inside supermarket frozen burgers. Seems they aren’t too keen on them.
