Frankly, I’m surprised, as only a few months ago I was talking to the técnico from the Diputación who was in charge of designing the plans, who claimed this would never go ahead due to lack of funds, but if RosiMari is willing to pay for it out of townhall funds, so much the better I suppose. It’s been confirmed that La Mata bowling club is to be dissolved, and the green grass bowling centre decommissioned. Members of the club have been told that their memberships will end at the end of December, and the centre will not open for the new year. The club had about 70 members. A shame. It’s a lovely location.
