The manhunt for the baby kidnapper in Gergal continues, and police have released a photo of the alledged kidnapper, Jonathan Moya González, a Spanish man who lives in the village. Manhunt for baby kidnapper underway in province

A 16 month old baby was snatched by a man in Gérgal (a village above Almería city) last Thursday, and police have confirmed that a manhunt is underway in the province to capture the kidnapper and retrieve the baby. Almeria University finds livestock drugs in baby food and develops a way to measure contamination levels

Researchers from the University of Almeria have developed a system to analyse the amount of livestock drugs in babyfood preparations, and have been surprised at the findings of the new system. The quantities are very small, but in milk powder and in meat-based baby food, residues of drugs given to livestock were found, confirm the University.
