A twenty eight year old man who bit another man’s ear off has accepted six years in jail. The aggressor, who acknowledged being “heavily under the influence of drink” at the time of the attack, confessed his only motive had been because the victim had “looked at him wrongly”. Belgian shepherd kills owner in Murcia

A 70 year old man has been attacked and killed by his pet dog, a Belgian shepherd. The attack happened last night. Emergency services were alerted by a neighbour of the man, who reported hearing the sounds of a dog attack inside the home, but who couldn’t get inside because of the aggressive attitude of the animal. Forgot to post this yesterday. The petrol station in Los Gallardos was attacked in the wee hours of Friday morning, hence the smashed plate glass. It seems two young lads made at the windows with a cheap sledgehammer. After the fifth or six pound on the glass, the head came flying off leaving them a bit nonplussed. Twit causes alarm and gets arrested after pretending to be carjacked

A twenty four year old Spaniard has been arrested after he claimed to have been carjacked on the road outside Almeria airport. The man told police that whilst driving there another car blocked his way, forcing him to pull over, and two men jumped out to rob him. He claimed to have lost 200 euros in cash as well as his mobile phone. However, police detectives quickly realised that nothing in his story made sense. Fisherman attacked by shark off Almería

That should read “shark attacked by fisherman” as it bit him when he was trying to drag it onboard his fishing trawler. The man was on board the 17m long Nuevo Mirandilla fishing boat when he dragged aboard a tintoria, a blue shark. Whilst struggling with the 2metre long fish, it bit him hard on the hand, almost severing the limb. The Guardia Civil have arrested two 13 year olds, and identified a 12 year old, accused of beating up a Romanian kid they were picking on at school in the central square of Turre. A 16 year old who was refereeing an under 10’s football game needed urgent hospital treatment after being beaten senseless by some parents after the game ended.
