Mayor Grima postal fraud scam under electoral board investigation

The allegation that Mayor of Turre Arturo Grima was spotted in Mojácar’s post office posting 80 postal votes is the subject of an investigation by the electoral board. Arturo Grima caught in alleged postal vote fraud

The Mayor of Turre, Arturo Grima, has been allegedly caught out by the opposition PSOE party in a postal vote scam. According to a complaint filed today with the electoral board and the Guardia Civil by the PSOE, they not only have witnesses who say they were approached by Grima with offers to buy their postal votes, but they also have pictures of Grima posting some 80 votes in the Mojácar post office. Turre mayor has sit-in at government offices

Arturo Grima, mayor of Turre, has carried out his threat to have a sit-in at the local ministry of Work offices until they cough up the 417,000€ he says they owe to town. (They say they don’t, as he hasn’t filed the paperwork). Mayor of Turre to lock himself into Ministry today unless Turre gets cash

Arturo Grima, the flamboyant Mayor of Turre, has held a press conference this morning to announce that he is to hold a meeting today in Almería, to discuss the outstanding payment of 317.000€ the town is owed by the Ministry of Work, and, before getting into his car, promised reporters he would “lock himself in” until he sees the receipt of the bank transfer.
