The bingos, casinos and slot machines of the province were fed over 143 million euros last year according to a government study. Mojácar has lost its title of prettiest coastal town. The title has now gone to Nerja. Mojácar actually came sixth in the voting – Ribadeo (Lugo), Conil (Cádiz), Santoña (Cantabria), Alcanar (Tarragona), Deba (Guipúzcoa) were all ahead of our local village.
