Vera to get new roundabout

A new roundabout is to be built at a dangerous “black spot” outside Vera. The new traffic measure will replace the current offset cross roads which lead out of town towards Cuevas del Almanzora, just past the Lidl’s supermarket. Farmers decry weather manipulation

The provincial farmers union FERAL have announced that they are filing a complaint with the environmental police about the use of light aircraft to “seed” clouds with minerals to alter weather patterns. The Junta de Andalucia has denied that El Argar, a bronze age village outside Antas from an ancient civilisation, is being “routinely despoiled” by treasure hunters. Drugs found in military vehicle

Two hundred kilos of hashish have been discovered inside a military vehicle leaving Africa to return to its base in Viator, Almeria. The lorry belonged to the Duque de Alba II brigade of the Legion which is based outside the capital city.
