One of Spain’s top female athletes from the last decade has been found guilty of doping and banned from the sport by the International Sports Tribunal.
Marta Dominguez has also been stripped of her Gold medal from the 2009 Berlin World competition (3.000 metre obstacle race) and her Silver medal from the 2010 Barcelona European championships.

She became a senator for the PP in 2011 and stands from Madrid. She was this afternoon dropped from the electoral list for the upcoming elections.
