Huercal de Almeria asks interior minister for his resignation

It seems they have nothing better to do up in Huercal de Almeria than to waste peoples time with this sort of nonsense. The IU controlled council only tabled four motions in the first plenary session of the year, and the first of them was to demand the resignation of Spanish Interior Minister Jorge Diaz for having passed the ley mordaza, the modelled – on – Franco “law of citizen security” that everyone is (very quietly so as not to draw the attention of the newly empowered State Security Forces) complaining about.

Anyway, the motion passed with only the local PP party voting against it. Mayor Ismael Torres Miras said it was important to take a stand. Stand having been taken, can we now get down to some real work?
