RTVE to broadcast La Liga FTA
A deal has been struck that will see Spanish public broadcaster RTVE air one live La Liga game on each matchday. The agreement also sees a tie from every round of the Copa del Rey – barring the final – to be shown live by RTVE’s television arm TVE. Consequently, La Liga becomes the only ‘top five’ League out of themselves, the Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 to broadcast free-to-air football.
