The PSOE candidate for Mayor in Alcaldía de Meruelo (Cantabria), one Luis Alberto Nicolás, has put up election posters of himself naked (but with the naughty bits hidden by the PSOE rose) to “make a difference”. Another step to protect purchasers in good faith

3 sea turtles found dead

3 sea turtles have been found dead on the same day across Almería’s beaches. One large turtle, 45cm across, with a cracked shell was found in Mojácar; another, 40cm across, was found in Almerimar and a third, 60cm across, washed up in Cabo de Gata natural park. Hundreds of sailboat jellyfish wash up on shores

Hundreds of brightly coloured sailboat jellyfish have washed up on shores along the province over the last couple of days. The little blighters are innocuous to humans, unlike their close cousins the Portugese man-o-war, which is deadly. You can tell the difference because one kills you and the other doesn’t (hah!).
