Almería surrender documents found and restored by local paper

The original articles of surrender by the Moorish residents of Almería to the Christian armies in the 15th century have been found (they were lost? Spanish Princess puts half a million euros bail money in wrong account

The Spanish Infanta Cristina has been forced to pay 587.413 euros to the Balearic Island court investigating her family for massive corruption for bail. Sadly, her lawyers made a mistake and sent the money to the wrong person. Ouch. Spanish news publishers beg Google to put news back online

Google News closed in Spain today because of a new law that would force it to pay publishers for linking to their site, and so Spanish newspapers (who mainly lobbied for the new law) have lost millions of page views a month. Which is why the AEDE (the association of newspaper editors that lobbied for the law in the first place) is now lobbying the government to, ah, force Google to reopen the service. Tabernas gets medical helipad

A medical helipad has opened in Tabernas, the eighth in the province. The idea behind these helipads is ambulances attending critical accidents can radio for a medical helicopter to transport the patient to the main hospital in Almeria, then meet the helicopter at the helipad and transfer the patient, saving at least a half hour vehicle trip to Almería.
