Spain will be sending Ruth Lorenzo winner of the 2009-2010 X Factor TV competition in the UK to Eurovision this year.
She’s known in her native Murcia as “the woman with whose voice Gordon Brown fell in love with“.
Lorenzo won a tie breaker with Brequetterin TVE’s Eurovision 2014 competition, where Spaniards across the country vote to send their favourite to Eurovision.
She’s singing an atrocious “Spanglish” song called Singing in the Rain in which she ignores Eurovision rules to switch between Spanish and English.
