Bullfighting “not a problem” for kids TV says RTVE

Andalucian health service collapses under swine flu epidemic, boss quits

The head of the Andalucian health service has quit as his department recognises that hospitals across Andalucia are unable to deal with the flu epidemic. José Luis Gutiérrez, head of the SAS (Servicio Andaluz de Salud) handed in his notice with immediate effect this morning. He’s been running the show since April 2008. Inheritance Tax (IHT) increases in the Murcia & Valencia Region

As of 11thJuly 2013 the Murcia region increased Inheritance Tax (IHT) payable by residents inheriting within this region. Before this time Group 2 Resident Beneficiaries (spouses, parents, biological & adoptive children over 21) of the Murcia community benefitted from a 99% exemption on assets they inherited within their region however, this has now been reduced to a standard allowance of 15,957 Euros. Olula del Rio townhall catches fire, radio station damaged

The townhall of Olula del Rio (up in the mountains) caught fire this morning, and seems to have gutted the studio of the local radio station, Radiolula. Mayor Martínez Pascual said that everything was OK at 7:15 am when the cleaners let themselves in, but at 8am the fire alarm went off, and shortly afterwards flames were coming out of a window, as you can see in the photos.
