Trouble in Madrid after Jesús Mora, the head of the Red Cross in Madrid, was suspended pending the outcome of an internal affairs investigation.
It seems he’s been forcing his own buddies onto the board, and after several workers quit making allegation of bullying behaviour from him. It also seems a whistleblower has made certain allegations to the ruling body of the Red Cross España charity about his behaviour.
The Red Cross says that the suspension is a temporary measure to allow the allegations to be investigated, and say that he is innocent until proven guilty.
Jesús has been the Madrid head of the charity since 2007, and a Red Cross member for over 20 years. The post is a voluntary one with no salary says the charity.
