Almeria – Madrid route taken up by Air Europa

Air Europa has announced that it is to launch a scheduled flight between Almeria Airport and Madrid Barajas. It will fly twice on weekdays and once on Sundays. Flights start on the 17th of Feb with tickets costing from €113 per seat. The airline has promised to cover the route only until the 31st of July 2014, at which point it has the option to continue with the route. 2 Coppers in El Ejido sent down for drug dealing

4 years each and €200,000 fine. They were first arrested in 2009, but were allowed to keep working on the frontline until the supreme court decided on their fate. Marbella abandons skyscraper plans

Marbella has overturned a previous planning permission to permit five massive skyscrapers to be built in the iconic town, and has withdrawn all permits, after a huge citizen protest movement against the plans. AVE contracts suspended after corruption suspected

Kings sister “outed” as secret theatre goer

The younger sister of King Juan Carlos, Doña Margarita, has been outed as a secret theatre goer who regularly sits in the regular seats at local theatres with her friends, before going on for girly nights of “chocolate y churros” in the centre of Madrid.
