Water supplies will run out this summer across the Baja Andarax region of Almeria this summer, unless the Junta frees up funds at once to carry out emergency repair works, warns the water company.
The Baja Andarax is the area around Viator, the other side of Almeria, going up the river Andarax. The cut means leaving some 40,000 people without access to water, according to La Voz.
The trouble is that the Junta needs to put down a new water supply and pipeline to guarantee supplies. The current infrastructure won´t be sufficient for the summer months.
