Police confirm they have seized dozens of samples of pet and animal food to see if they contain remains of diseased animals or stray dogs, in a major national investigation, according to El Mundo newspaper. Albox Mayor quits due to being fed up with politics

The Mayor of Albox has presented his resignation, saying that he is disillusioned with politics and fed up with it. The Mayor of Albox has resigned with immediate effect, according to La Voz de Almería, citing sources in the town. The reasons for the resignation of José García Navarro are unclear, but a press conference is expected soon.
