Deciding, after the Huercal-Overa fería on Friday, to take a shortcut home to avoid any possibly unpleasent interviews with those nasty coppers and their pesky breathaliser machines, this unfortunate chap realised too late that the floods last month had somewhat altered the rambla, and this is what then happened:
The driver was speeding down the rambla Los Reyes on his way back home to Úrcal, it seems to avoid a nearby traffic control on the main road, as he was too sozzled to drive.
The driver was rescued, unhurt, from the vehicle by the Guardia and local fire brigade. (Ideal)
