Huercal Overa slaps huge tax on new Chinese shops

Huercal Overa has lowered taxes on opening new businesses, but slapped a huge new opening tax on large “Oriental” style shops, of 20,000€. So if you want to open a Chinese shop over 700 m2, you have to pay this tax to get your opening license. Mojacar switches off half the streetlights to save cash

In order to save cash, Mojacar has ordered that every second streetlight be switched off. Also, to stop people flocking to the townhall to complain, the council will stick a sticker on all the switched off streetlights to inform you, the citizen, that because they stole all your cash, you have to fall over in the potholes at night.
