Floods in Vera caused 26 million euros in damage to personal property (3,400 homes damaged)

The initial report into Friday’s flood say that the estimated insurance bill for personal effects in the Levante will be 26 million euros, corresponding to 3,400 homes, 200 shops and 750 vehicles.

In total, flooding in Andalucia is expected to cost the insurers some 45 million euros, 15 million euros in Murcia and 62.7 million euros in Valencia.

Due to the scale of the damages, the insurance is being awarded via the consorcio, and not through any one insurance company.

If you need to make a claim, you can do so via your normal insurance company, on the hotline setup for the incident: 902 222 665 or online at www.consorseguros.es.
