Mojacar puts up signs outside supermarkets threatening fines for people drinking booze in the streets

And what better place to remind people than with a large sign as you enter the supermarket to buy your booze?

Just to remind the kids that if they’re caught in a botellón it’s 100€ a head. I wonder what their definition of a botellón is? What if it’s just me and another lad? Ah well.

  1. The kids are very welcome to visit Mojácar, but only if they spend money here in the bars – above all, those that belong to the mojaqueros. Otherwise – who needs them? Ordinary ‘bucket and spade’ tourism is apparently down 30% after the mis-selling of our resort.
