Nespresso, the coffee people, have sent me a pink leaflet about their latest coffee, Naora, which is a confusing hodgepodge of English and Spanish.
Starts off “Naora – limited edition 2012” before going on to boast “capture el momento”.
Now, English or Spanish? What does capture el momento actually mean? Surely it should be captas el momento, as “capture” is an English word followed by a Spanish phrase, and the rest of the brochure (the “limited edition 2012” bit notwithstanding) is in Spanish.
Hmm.
Captas or Captarás I think are the verbal forms, but no capture. And so the morning drags on.
