King of Spains son-in-law “stole 2 million euros” from Balearic Islands

The Public AntiCorruption Prosecutor of the Balearic Islands has accused the Duke of Palma, Iñaki Urdangari, of inflating services he offered the Balearic Islands by around 2 million euros, as part of the caso Palma Arena.

Iñaki, who used to be a pro Volleyball player for Barcelona before he married the Kings younger daughter, had his home and foundation searched by Police last night.

Today, the public prosecutor has sent a file to a Judge in which he accuses the Duke of inflating service contracts by 2 million euros and asks for charges to be bought. Several of his associated have been arrested in Barcelona.

The Royal Household has so far not commented on the scandal.
