Romanian budget airline may start Almeria flights soon

Blue Air, the Romanian budget airline, has confirmed it is studying the possibility of running flights between Almeria and Bucharest “in the very near future”.

The airline says that the established population of some 45,000 Romanians in the province means that a steady audience is available.

Fly Me, the Romanian travel agents that operate Blue Air flights in Spain, point out that a Málaga route is already profitable for Blue Air, despite the fact that Málaga only has around 15,000 Romanian nationals living in the airport catchment area.
