The regional PSOE have decided to show the voters of now-PP owned towns what they’re missing out on, by ensuring that the only town allowed to have the World Cup for a day in the Levante would be Los Gallardos (which returned Maria to power with an even greater PSOE share of the vote than before. This is mainly down to Maria being a good mayor rather than the inhabitants being left wing, I hasten to add).
The World Cup, which I’m told Spain won at the last World Cup Football Match, was paraded around town before being put in the townhall for people to queue up and have their photo taken with it. Hundreds of people turned up.
This time, nobody dropped it.
