Hotels closed for Easter

Almería is the second province of Andalucia with the most hotels not bothering to open for Easter, with nine hotels confirming that they will not be opening early for the break.

The hotels all say that preliminary bookings are not high enough to warrant opening up the hotels, although they are expected to open at the end of May for the summer season. That’s 3714 hotel rooms out of the loop.

  1. It is vicious circle though isn’t it ? – They are not going to get any bookings if they make it be known that they will not be open, and, if they have made such a last minute decision previously perhaps word has got round that they cancel the few rooms that were booked ?
