Police in Huercal Overa, according to the paper, have arrested a 19 year old (Juan Jose) and a 31 year old after they nipped over a back wall of a cortijo to steal six chickens, a prize cock and two bags of cornmeal.
Coppers were able to identify the thieves because Juan Jose dropped, during the excitement, a love letter from his girlfriend that had his name and address on.
The Guardia Civil recovered the chickens and returned them to their rightful owner, in case you were worried about them.
