Berlin: Two Germans set out on a 500km (310-mile) river swim with seven pet ducks.
Pia Marie Witt, 33, and Wilfried Arnold, 58, left Kassel in central Germany and plan to reach the North Sea by September.
They will swim up to 15km a day but the ducks will swim for only 20 minutes before getting a lift in a car or boat. (from The Times).
