The small fire is now out, after some sterling work by a passing helicopter that jetted up and down from Cortijo Grande golf course. A few fire men are walking around, poking at things. However, the helicopter is now flying over the other side of the mountain, so there could be another fire there – it’s dropping water there.
About 15 mins ago the gf spotted a small plume of smoke off to the left of Cabrera. She called it in, and the fire is spreading although still small. Flames visible through the binoculars. There is a steady breeze and the flames are spreading. Fire trucks and Guardia just went past heading up into the hills.
