Turre townhall has voted to ask for a further 1,5 million euro bank loan to help it over the next few months after running out of cash.
Turre currently has three outstanding loans: two of €700.000 each and a third of €70.000. So this will double the deficit if approved. Currently, it costs the townhall around €100,000 a year to service the loans it already has, according to my spy.
That works out to be about €434 per person in Turre that they want to borrow. Or a public debt of around €868. Blimey.
