Chef Juan Moreno, of Restaurant Juan Moreno fame, and one of Almerías top chefs, has been awarded the “Q” of Quality in Tourism for the excellence of his restaurant.
He is only the third restaurant in Andalucía to obtain this, and the first in Almería. The award goes alongside other trophies such as the “Plato de Oro” and “Gran Collar de Oro”. The award signifies excellence in tourism; quality, cleanliness, high standards, fresh produce and in general an area to be proud of.
His is the glass fronted restaurant next to the Vera roundabout, next to the Chinese buffet. From personal experience I can say that he puts on damn good spread.
