What a wonderful idea. You can now enable a feature in Google Mail (Gmail) that autoactivates late on weekend nights to stop you sending drunken emails – basically, it asks you to solve a few math questions before allowing you to send the email. Mojacar is full of lovely old Chiringuitos or beach bars. Some have been in the same hands for 30 years. There used to be more, but the “authorities” don’t like them, saying that they’re untidy, ugly and within 150m of the sea. Of course they are, they’re Chiringuitos. But, of course, the “authorities” can’t distinguish between inoffensive family owned beach bars and huge multinational hotels, so the whole lot has to go. Valle Radio Times (the old 89.8fm)

Having finally realised that yes, 89.8fm is a silly name for a magazine, the Valle Radio team have relaunched the magazine as Valle Radio Times. Continuing with the silly name bit, as “Valle” is “Valley” in Spanish, but as it’s continued by “Radio Times” in English, it just looks as if they forgot to add the y.
