The Mariela Oasis is, I am told, not reopening after Christmas. This was Mojácars “everything for a euro” place which had a certain following amongst those strong in euros coins and short on tastebuds.

    Version I heard – the owners (the family from the H Flamenco) wanted to ‘up’ the rent.
