BBC covering fire

The BBC has sent out a team to cover the Mojacar wildfires.

Some expats -including the young bro- interviewed here.

It’s running constantly on BBC 24, and I would have thought that somebody would have shown them how to pronounce “Mojácar”. ITV actually called me up to confirm the pronunciation.

    Hello,
Any news will be most welcome about Cabrera Village….
I won’t be able to get back for a few weeks…
My heart goes out to all who have lost homes, pet companions, and anyone suffering……

Cabrera was not affected by this latest fire.
The fire burnt what was left between the old fire and the beach.

BBC radio news are reporting what happened 2 days ago as if it is happening now and the report makes the sad deaths in other areas sound as if they are in Mojacar. I have pointed them to the latest from The Reader.

Many thanks for all info relayed via this site and thanks to David for running it.
